November 2008 Photographer: Phillip Augusta Title: The Two Towers Website: phillipaugusta.com Phillip Augusta has been shooting Portsmouth since the late 1970s. Hiis tug poster of the Marie Moran in the foggy morning light has sold over 10,000 copies and is still in print. In 1981 he started the arts and entertainment magazine re:Ports with partner Bill Paarlberg which they published until selling it in 1986. Since then he works as a freelance designer for book publishers and other clients. He still keeps a finger in the local publishing scene with various projects, including Phillip's Fetching Birds, and as editor and publisher of Shooting Portsmouth. |
